I picked up a cluth kit from HSP. I think it was Dale I spoke with. I'm running 58 gram heavy tiped weights, as for the spring I'm running, I'll check when I get home tomarrow. I may have to go with a heavier weight cur I'm hitting my limiter.

 

talked to my dealer and he said he would sell me an 800 primary clutch for 246.50, will this fit on a polaris 500? and if it were to fit would it do anything

 

I don't know if it would fit your 500HO. Partsland shows different PN 3"s for the clutch on the 500 and 700. So I cant help you much there.

Well my clutch showed up today finally off of back order i am going to get it put on saturday and see what it does for the 700. I will report on my findings.[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-cool.gif[/img]

 

Were did you get you 800 primary? I have looked everywhere for one.

 

From my polaris dealer in ft dodge iowa, it was on order for about 3 weeks.

 

I got my old clutch pulled off at the dealership and just got home and going to install hsp clutch kit into new 800 primary and install it and see what happends, i got to looking at my new 800 belt and it had a chunk of rubber tore out of it, so my dealer thank god had another belt on hand and the second one was good.

 

Take it for a rip and let me know if there is a good gains.
