Default Pull Start

I have a 2004 SP 500 and noticed the other day when I was using the pull start that there was some water in there. Is this something that I should be worried about? If so how can it be cleaned and dried? It does fire right up with the pull start. Thanks for any help.

Thanks

Ty

Always make sure your handle is pushed down a sealed so no water can get in there. There is a drain plug on the bottom of the recoil so you can drain it. It might not be a bad ideal to take the recoil off and clean and the water out you might also have some rust in there.
