Need some help on tires. i just got in the new ITP Mud Lite XTR tires for my 05 800 EFI. i have an issue with the front tires. stock was 26x8-12 which i took off. the new ITP XTR fronts are 26x9-12. i mounted these on my stock aluminum rims. after i installed on the bike i looked to see if had clearance all the way around and saw that the inside of the front tire is rubbing the boot of the rod end for the steering linkage. has anyone else had this happen. tire is only 1' wider? really a half inch to either side of the rim. Help!!!!!!

 

Ok Guys some of you have looked but no replies! if any of you have a 800 with the stock aluminum wheels and have put 26x9-12 or wider tires on you need to check space between tire and steering ball. see my pictures. tire is rubbing boot. i need to space out both front wheels. does anyone know where i can get spacers? what are the sizes of spacers available? only really need 1/2' per side. check youres if you have upgraded your tires.

 

I got some spacers from ebay for my 700. They are 1 1/2" per side.
