I cant figure this out for the life of me, idles fine, runs good but when you crack the throttle it chokes out, when you bring it up slowly it works fine *sometimes* carb has been out and cleaned several times and checked over and seems to be fine, is there anything electrical that could be causing this??

FRUSTRATED

look for a crack in your airbox, or tear in your rubber boot that goes in between the carb and airbox, or tear in your reed cage boot. what does your air filter look like. if it's real dirty it could cause this. if none of these suggestions pan out pull the pre filter and snorkel off and see if it goes away.

I tried it without the snorkel, and it still does this, i looked around at the rubber boot and it seems to be fine, i will try to buy a new airfilter and snorkel filter and see if it makes a difference, where is the reed cage boot i am not familiar with that, is there anything electrical that could cause this cause i have tried tons of stuff??

thanks

Pull the carb out, and the rubber boot that it connects to. The reed cage and reeds are right there. There are 6 bolts holding it in, plus one that holds the oil injector line in place. Go ahead and pull it and make sure that everything is ok, and that the reeds themselves are intact. There will be a small hole just inside of the oil injector line that is supposed to be there.

Also check to make sure your fuel filter is clear and your air/fuel mixture is ok. I've had a plugged filter and the carb set too rich cause this on the same quad. Good luck.
