URGENT!! Brake question...
#12
Now THAT was funny. But don't you think a 4 hour pow-wow dance is excessive? I have found 3 hours to usually suffice. I would have suggested your method, but always wind up scratching my quad up as I try to flip it over, so I had to go with the atlernate method.

Trust me, 4 hours is the minimum! When I want to do it safely, I dance for 6 hours...Pow wow is not violent, that's why it takes so long. I tried dancing on hardcore hip hop (you know, the nervous guys that scream at the microphone in their jumping cars full of girls), jumping, turning on the head...2 hours, and it was done, I just was too tired to go riding, so I won't do it again! Putting upside down does scratch your machine, that's how you can determine if cars are well maintained or not...see a nice shiny car...never been bled, see a smashed junky car, now that guy knows about brake maintenance!
Taking the wheels is also necessary. Once I tried to bleed my brakes without taking the wheels off...man did I get hurt!! I was 1/2 throttle, wheels were spinning fast and my hand got caught inside, I grabbed the first hand with the second (which was free) and pulled as hard as I could to get it off from between the rim and the disc. I couldn't! I could feel the disc cutting my hand off like a ham slice, then, Santa arrived took the wheels off, but unfortunately, he had arrived too late, so he gave my cut hand to rudolph (his rednose reindeer) who was glad to eat something!!
So remember, always take your wheels off, or you'll have to ride your machine with your teeth (I hold the handlebar with teeth number 2-4-6-8, throttle is tooth number 5, front brake number 7 and rear number 9)
I'm gonna stop now...it's getting unrealistic..hehe
