I would have to lean trail mod scrambler easy. I ride with two KFX's 700's and my mods are in my signature and I edge them both out what with HMF pipes. I barely edge out the piped one but my quad does.

It would probably do pretty good. I think a 2X4 400 would be lighter though.

That could be rider/paddles no paddles etc.
A trail moded 400 will have NO problems on the dunes especailly with paddles.
My moneys on the Scrammy!

I dont think a V is putting out 50 or more HP at the crank.

the kfx weighs 516, the output shaft is on the right side so puttin a 400 on it is out. i wonder what side the output shaft on a quadzilla is? hmmmmmm. as for stock vs. stock i'd think the kfx is more atractive. the 2006 scrambler weighs 571 pounds. i imagine polaris is losing some biseness to kawasaki here. time for a 700efi scrambler on a new frame with better suspension huh. does the 2006 vscrambler only come in 4x4. thats the only way i could find specs for it on the website.

I beleive you, the stock PVT of the Polaris is far behind the Kawasaki's in stock form. Getting traction on the ground is alot harder with a scrambler the stall is higher and the power band hits quick and fast.

The Kawi engages lower which is not a porblem with there torque and personally I feel the up shifting and down shifting is better on the Kawasaki.
