I am considering purchasing a 2000 model Remington S.E. 500 (4x4) for @$3200. It is very clean, well maintained. Unsure about how many miles (guessing @ 1000). Does this sound like a good deal? Anyone know about the 2000 model's track record as far as reliability?[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-confused.gif[/img]

 

I have a 2000 Sportsman 500 and have had zero problems.... I have had it for 4 yrs. now and have done a few mods - check out the pics .. I do my regular maintenance and clean it up after I mud it every time.... I plow snow, hunt , and trail ride it and it's been very reliable..... If it's clean, that sounds like a descent buy - Ask for maintenance records - The Remington is what I originally wanted but I could not pass up the deal I got on this one.... Good luck

 

2000 Sportsman 500s are going for 3900 to 4500 in AZ now right before hunting season. If it is in good shape you have a good deal.

never hurts to ask if any repairds have been done to it... see if u can get if down to 3000
