Here comes the snow...

Well, there's snow in the forcast for the next few days. As much as I hate to admit it, my riding season is coming to an end very soon. I'll probably take my 6 out for a late season moose hunt, but the Scrambler is about done for the year...

Hey AKScrambler~
Why is the season coming to an end for the scrambler? Do you get so much snow that ATV's can't even get through? It's been a few years, but when there's 18 inces on the ground here in Wisconsin, we just have to make one pass and then most machines go just fine. Do you have a set of tracks for your 6X6? That would make the ultimate winter machine! Keep on riding!

Well, the weather gurus were right. I woke up to snow on the ground this morning. The problem with winter riding is if we get off the hard pack from the snow machines, we get stuck. Also don't care for riding in -20 degrees or lower.

We get 6 feet of snow or more on average up here I bet Alaksa gets more than that, you have to put the atv's up they won't even begin to make it in the snow we get, plus all the trails are groomed for snowmobiles and they are illegal for atvers to be on, the state marked and groomed trails that is
. though it is fun the first storm when there is not enough for grooming.
