? on predators air box
#1
If I remove my predators air box lid and go with an after market air filter, what jets should I start with? And will I have problems riding in wet weather or playin in some water?

It depends on what Intake you go with. You WILL have to rejet. It also depends on your altitude. If you do the civic intake and are at sea level then its going to be about a 200 MJ with a 50 PJ mixture screw 3 1/2 turns out. Also with the RathRacing and the Nicholas Cycle intakes you will have to rejet pretty high because of the large about of air you will be moving

if you are looking to eliminate the whole air box and put a slip on filter directly on the carb you will have to watch out for the water. as for jetting i would put it on run it for a couple hard laps and then do a plug check. Yeah I know its a real bear to get at but you'll have to do it anyway if you do change the jets!
