my 400 is falling on her face on top end. runs smoothly outa hole and through mid range, but on the very top end she breaks up..

i checked and changed the plug.... same thing happend.

i just installed a brand new stock ignition bout 4 months ago.

checked timing. dats fine.

heres the kicker. i only have bout 1/4 tank of gas(112) in her. im wondering if shes runing out of gas because shes pulling, and the gas is pulling away from the petcock. i know i should just put some gas in my tank, but the nearest place is an hr. away and i wont get a chance to run up there till dis weekend.

i dont think shes runn rich for im runn a 172 main. dont rally wanna leanr out anymore.

if any of you fellas have had these syntoms feel free to share your remedy
