I've got an 04.5 400 Sportsmans thats been bogging on me since it was new. Had it back to the dealer twice and they couldn't fine the problem. It just about did me in on a hill once and boggs under a load about 1 in 10 times. Rejetting seams the the way to go!

In addition to the re-jetting.
Change your primary spring to an EPI pink. It allows the engine to rev a bit higher in the powerband when doing hill climbs and such. It has no other detrimental effects but does allow for better operating flexibility in high range.

Yeah, NB...... I'm from Saint John
I'd like to convince the dealer they should rejet at no cost to me....... so far, they haven't been real helpful or knowledgable on the topic.
Last time in, they changed the plug and fuel filter.... the fault remains and I was out 70 bucks! Didn't even send a limo to pick me up ! lol
I've sent an e-mail to Polaris to see what they can do......

Just an update....... talked to the local dealer today, they were unaware of the problem! They checked with Polaris and the parts are on order. You would think Polaris would keep their dealers and technicians beter informed???
Again, thanks for the help guys, if it wasn't for this forum, I'd have to put up with the problem for another year!
