Geezus, that was a freaking joke. Anyway, can't do jack with a quad that can't stay running. My DS has never failed me.

Sombody is crusin for a brusin. CaRider, I think that if your not goona post anything positive, than you shouldnt post anything at all. I would not want to pick a fight with FixitMatt at a time like this. NOTE- by the way there is no doubt that once his preditor gets fixed, i could blow whatever you call that little bathtoy you play with away.

only reason that it hasnt failed is since it has like 40 hp stock. even my trailblazer is pushin at least 33 man and its only a 250. if your DS was pushin as much power as matts pred you would be eatin clutches to.

I'll take that race!!!!!!!!! Hey Matt........what is up. Been a while. Sounds like you are the same though.........about a year later, and you are still breaking stuff. lol..........You should be a test rider for Polaris.......

Mine has been down since Feb.........well I started off trying to basically overhaul the top end on my pred the night before we went to little sahara........I ended up tightening the timing chain too tight, and the cams dug into the head, and ruined them both!!!! Not to mention it had 750 bucks of Doug's work in it........so we went to Doug's and got a new stock head, and cams........which set me back a good chunk........and it ended up running. When down in little sahara about the end of the first night, I noticed an oil leak on the clutch side of the motor(brake side)......and we noticed the clutch cover was cracked. So stupidly, we just decided to try to epoxy it shut(just for one more day of riding)........well that didn't work, so we jb welded it.....that held. We figured it cracked due to overtightening one of those little bolts. Well as I rode it, I began to notice it wouldn't shift under extreme pressure(drag racing and all)..........especially in 4th and 5th.. Stupidly I kept on riding it.........You can probably see where this is going........well it held together luckly........but I ended up with a small hairline crack from the clutch cover, up into the case of th motor.......well when we got back home, I tore into it.......eyes closed. And low and behold.......the crank nut(which I hadn't ever touched or been near, and this would have been almost exactly 2 yrs old now).........came off, and it smacked into the case........and that was causing the clutch to slam into the cover.....and caused the break in the motor and cover. Doug said I was really lucky, because the top end is oiled through something in that cover, and as close as he could tell, it was almost plugged.........which he said would have dropped the whole motor in a matter of seconds. So anyways, the new cover was 300 bucks, and I know a guy that runs a really precise machine shop(works on race car motors, and airplane parts).......and he thinks he can fix the head, and maybe the cams(thinking about putting a layer of chrome on them or something)..........and the crack in the motor I can get welded by another friend that has done this many of times........so hopefully I'll be up and running sometime mid winter.............

Maybe your luck isn't so bad huh...........lol...........
