Wife Wants To Ride
#1
My wife is no longer satisfied with tagging along on the back or waiting in camp...she wants her own wheels. She's not very big but can handle my sp500 on trails and roads but she needs something smaller. We're leaning towards a Trailboss 325 2wd because she can get by without 4wd 90% of the time. Thought about Explorer 4wd but wanted to stay with 4 stroke engine.
Anyone else riding with their ladies with some advice and suggestions as to what they found was a good solution is appreciated.

My wife really likes her trail boss. Its easy steering and fun to ride for her. It is not an extremely fast machine, but it does its best on slow, tighter trails. There has been only a few times that we have had to switch rides because she needed the four wheel drive to get through whereas I can get through with the two wheel drive. One of the best values out there. I gave $3,300 for mine in April. Ride them all and pick the one that feels the best to her.

I can't pry my wife's fingers off out Xplorer 400. I don't know about your wifes temperment, but mine refuses to be slowest on the trail. That leaves me on the old Honda 300. Good machine, but everyone else seems to have something faster or better handling. I guess somebody has to be last. The 325s seem to be great machines, but are SLOW when compared to the 400s & 500s.

325 Magnum is a good machine for a little more $$, with a shaft drive, Hi/Lo range. Light clutch weights and a white spring and it'll move along pretty well. It's got a cushy ride and it's also Generation IV and not much smaller than a Sportsman. But if she has or gets a need for speed you better keep shopping.

My wife loves her Scrambler 400 4x4. The 500 would be great also. She loves the ride and acceleration. But she will also ride my 400L. We once had a TB 250 and She was like one of the kids and out grew that pretty quick. Dont let the fact that she is small fool you My wife is only 5'3" 110lb and she can roost pretty good. Get her something she will not out grow.
