Default Predator with FCR 41mm keihin

Thats a well timed question. On Predator owners site there are a few people confused about what I sell and do, plus what is told to one is not true for the next motor. Yes the stock rod is strong in the right motor and setup correctly(which does not happen a lot) even with the big bores. After a certain engine speed and stress the stock rod gives up, I have a lot of 574cc motors running with stock rods and I have tested the 600 Hotseat with a stock rod, no problems. When I put on my rod I had built it is setup to my specs, now if that costs to much I am sorry, but I have destroyed many motors just to see what parts will take.My crank is set to my specs to help stop certain problems. With 558 kits(sleved cyl's) you are dealing with differant deck hieghts, so you need to check clearances. Next, any time you assemble a motor with a high profile pist. and differant cams, you better be checking all clearances. Head porting has nothing to do with changing clearances, unless you changed the chamber or milled the surface or changed cams or degreeing. I see lots of ruined parts from people just not knowing how to set the motor up. My drag cams cost me about 50,000 to get right and a ton of hard work. Even if you get lucky and design a good profile you have to put the entire package together. Your rods interest me, but I do not know when I could test a ti rod at this time. I have lots of projects in the works. For the people that think the NR billit 574cc and Hotseat 600 kits are too much money, they both do what they were designed for.And when put together properly eliminate a lot of problems with sleved cyl's. Remember performance costs money and WILL reduce the life of motor parts. My stage one is the only motor build that actually increases the dependability of the Predator. Have a Happy and safe New Year and thanks to all my new and many repeat customers, Doug

So, Doug which cams of yours should I use???Also, my engine builder is Jay Loranez from Atlantic Polaris in Brick New Jersey , I'm sure he talked with you so time ago about my set up, he may have been getting some parts from you.I'm sure he got your valve springs and buckets(i,ve seen them) those are for me,the last thing I need is a set of cams.I had a set custom made for me sometime ago (back in 04) They just don't seem to work out,I wanted to be sure that it wasn't a matter of some bad tunning in the carb or anything other. Now we know it must be the cams. So I need the custom set of web cams to match my 558 with a falicon crank, and 1mm oversized valves.I have been told that the crank is good for 11000.I already got the Pure polaris silencer with the turn down end cap,a twin air pod filter, and the fcr carb.whats left?

Doug I also have a dyna tech fs,,anyway you can send me some nice timming curves for this set up we will be overhauling.I know that these curves are a black art so I understand if you don't want to give up any secrets.but, it would be nice if Jay at polaris could reprogram My cdi for the 558 kit.
