I Had contacted Rath racing ,to ask If they had A heat sheild for their head pipe,What I found out is Even better. Jen has told me that Rath Will have a new Head pipe out in a 2 weeks. This head pipe is new in design. It will Have a increase In horsepower 1Hp over the old one. It also will be available in Ceramic Coating or stainless. Also the new Pipe has No seems from welds like before. Now it will be smoother/sharper looking . I'm sure their is more that I'm forgetting But,With everthing that i wrote already makes it better then the last pipe.

wow......keep us posted on anything else you find out.......that is exactly what I'm looking for. I am still running the stocker. That would be close to 3hp from a head pipe then.......that is pretty darn good. Any ideas on price??

All that Fixitmatt says is true along with a improved collector area, making maximum HP gains 3 1/2. I spoke to Jennifer today she will be shipping me mine on Oct 14, I bought the ceramic coated.

ohter than the obvious you mean?? nothing.......they just look differently.......I suppose weight is darn close to the same.......ceramic coating(on both inside and out......don't konw if theirs is like that).......but it keeps the heat down too........
obvious.......ceramic is all polished and looks kinda like a chrome/billet(hard to describe).......and the stainless will look like their las pipe(I think it was stainless).........just looks like the old metal pipe.......

Ceramic coated is a high temp resitant ceramic coating on the steel pipe, prevents the steel from rusting. Stainless steel is a high quality rust resistant steel. I wouldn't think from a performance standpoint one would be better than the other. I bought the ceramic because I don't like the discoloration the stainless gets when it gets hot, turns kinda of a blue and copper color, but again won't rust. Hope that helps
