Anyone know how much a stock chain is for a TB?
Well my boys were out riding my Trailblazer on my mx track and they brought it back with a chain that snapped and got all wrapped around the sprocket between the trans mount and the trans itself. I was going to take a dremel and cut it out but decided to take it to the dealer in town since they have taken good care of me. Anyone know off hand what the chains run for these and if it's pricey I'd probably go towards an aftermarket one. Also is this a common problem or are my boys just savages? Thanks in advance, Brian

I would go with a quality aftermarket chain. You can get a nice x or o ring chain for around $60.00 that will perform better than just about any stocker. BTW, the most likely cause for that chain to come off is that it was to loose. Just have your boys keep a good eye on it before every ride and every so often while it is in use. Throwing a chain is a great way to break an engine case and get a big repair bill!

I just ordered a D.I.D. x-ring chain for my Xplorer today from Rocky Mountain ATV. The chain was $47.99 with $7.67 for shipping for a grand total of $55.66. If you've never used their site, you can put in the ATV you have and it will show you compatible parts.
