I again appreciate all the info...I hear you on the diet I need to put the 400 on. What would you guy's suggest getting rid of to drop pounds?

Just look at the quad.......and think.....do I really need this? Or.....is there some way to rid this item and replace it with something lighter or something that will do its job that is lighter.....



Mainly......electrical items(battery, electrical start, lights,etc)........loose floorboards, cut fenders, lighter tires and wheels, aftermarket pipe, loose skid plates, aluminum handlebars.........etc......

 

mainly what Brad said and also a lot of people remove the 4x4 (if applicable), oil injection/tank and just premix.
Battery eliminator (a must) and remove starter motor.

All this is not an absolute must unless your going to drag in organized races, it will be plenty fast and powerfull with the race mods.

removed the whole 4x4 system is around 40-45 lbs less alone than stock,
and you can still shave with removed footpegs,battery,battery holder plate,fan assist,lights..
