Default Tires

I had been looking at the stock Polaris tires for a while now ( PXT's), just liked the look of the grip, to put on my suzuki vinson 500. Went to a polaris dealer this last week to see what kind of aftermarket tires they had in stock and mentioned the PXT's and the guy there said he had a set he took of his new bike and would sell them to me. So I bought them. I had ran some 26" 589,s for about 35-40 miles and loved the grip but the ride sucked, to rough. So not being a big mud digger myself anyway, decided to get some less aggresive tires, and sold the 589s for $100 less than i payed to a cousin of mine 2 days after buying. Anyway to make short story I LOVE these tires, i put about 60 miles on them so far on dirt road, sand, creek running in sand and mud, and thick mud. they are a little taller than my stock 25's , theyve got alot better grip than my stock ones, and they ride a he?? of a lot better then some hard after market tires, and the size is just right, 26X8 & 26X11. One question, does any one have some of these that are still new with "****" that they replaced with someting else, and want to get rid of them, i got a couple of friends that want them now. I would also like to get a hold of the older polaris tires, i think they were goodyears maybe, rawhide or something like that, they had big spaced grips like the PXT's, would like to try them too. The new PXT's are just what i like, right size and grip for the riding I do, and would like to get another set for later use also myself.

the PXT tires are good as long as you stay away from rocks, they have a very weak sidewall. goodyear rawhides are very good tire, had them on my 600, but only come in 25' good luck.
