I put the 27" Titan 589's on my Grizzly, and have been very pleased with their performance. They grip better then the stock tires in all situations, but they really stand out in the mud. Good cleaning tire, so you don't have to spin them real fast to keep them clean. They also pull in reverse about as good as they do going forward. The construction of the tire is very solid, WAY stronger then my stock tires were!

Goodyear Mudrunners!

I've had the 25x8x11 and 25x10x11 Mudrunners on my Bayou 300 4x4 and Bayou 400 4x4 for 18 months now. For everything from the deep mud of Cochranton and Salamanca, to the large rocks (small boulders) of Tasker's Gap, the Mudrunners can't be beat.

They also ride smoothly on hardpack and even on pavement. They are the best all-around tire I've ever used.

They do rumble slightly at walking speeds, but it is a slight price to pay for otherwise truly incredible performance.

Get the Mudrunners, you'll not be sorry.

Bill,
What sizes are you running? 12" rims all around. I too have to deal with a lot of snow, plus the mountains, but not much mud. Do you prefer the run-flats or straight MudRunner.
Thanks.

I recently put Maxxis Sur-Traks on the rear of my scrambler. My stock tires were about half way worn out and would spin too easily on all but hardpack dirt. With these new Sur-Traks my front end will come up under hard acceleration even in the mud or loose dirt. They are Bi-Directional meaning if you turn them one direction they are for dirt and mud and the other is for snow and sand. They say they are only 2 ply or something but the side walls are about 5 times stiffer than the stockers. I would buy them again.
