Tap lightly with a hammer around the gasket surface then use a good gasket scraper.....

Hit it lightly with a cookie cutter on an air grinder. Don't get into it to hard or you will start pulling aluminum.

Permatex makes a gasket removing spray that works good.I use it in hard to reach situations. It take a few minutes but you dont gouge the alluminum with it.
