Default Trailblazer Help!

I am intalling a Mikuni 34mm TMX carb off of a polaris 440 race sled. Everything was going so smooth and was coming together great. So i get everything hooked up and i realize the piston valve only comes up about 3/4 the way so there is still about a 1/4 inch sticking into the passage. I'm thinking there is some stopper in the cable and i'm not sure if i can fix this in any way because i would realy like to get this carb working before winter. Any help would be apreciated.

Default Trailblazer Help!

If taking the slack out doesnt work. maybe the throttle lever off of a machine using the 34mm, has a longer pull and will help. Or a twist grip?

Ya thats the problem. It's like the cable will get to a certain point and won't go any further. But when i would loosen that cable screw where it screws into the top cap of the piston valve it helped but the valve still stuck out into the passage a little. I just don't get why the cable stops it like that.
