Default State road rules

ive been looking all over the internet for road rules applying to 4wheelers and if makeing a quad is street legal in my state. i was able to find on the KY State Police website that it is legal to ride 1/4 of a mile on the the street and on the 15 foot section of public land on either side of the road. other than that, i cant find anything else. if anyone could help me find some info on this it would be great, being able to legaly ride on the street would be fantastic as my job is only 2 miles away, but its so hilly and dangerious that a bicycle dosnt work for it

What's the population of your town?

Do you know the local cops?

I ride mine past the County Sherriff's house twice a day on the street.

I am guessing the cops in LaGrange aren't particularly partial to ATVs on the streets. Spyder, we have no provisions in Kentucky Revised Statutes that allow ATVs on the streets...unfortunately. How is the GNCC Pred treating you?

well, my zip code is for La Grange, but i live on the outskirts so OCPD deals with me. thankfully, my brother being a Sherrif and me knowing most the cops im sure i could get out of it, or atleast from some, theres this one guy though, BJ, i really hate him, hes a total ****. i have yet to be warned or pulled over, and thankfully my timing is always to the point that its when im pulling up my driveway that the county smokey goes by.

oh well, thats a shame that theres no ATV laws for the road, i wonder if i can claim the preddy as a Farm Vehical and get the little triangly sign.

the pred is great, so much more fun than the 800, the ride is deffently rougher, but im used to it by having to drive through eroded land for 6 hours with a suspentionless 1800 pound tractor... the power is amazing, i drag raced my friends turbo 6cyl mitsubishi eclipse the other day and beat him to 55 i need to get a few aftermarket parts though, im starting to know the quad to well and it feels slow.

as far as parts, im looking at getting:

Rath Raceing radiator scoops
Rath Raceing S/S header
Rath Raceing K&N intake sys.
Renthal handle bar
maybe a HMF slip on, if not, 4 more disks to my white bros
Pro Armour nerfs

do you guys know if there are any reliablility issues with AAEN stuff?
