04 700 EFI Which Clutch Kit Guys?
#21
So what Im understanding here is that the heelclicker does make a big difference and is adjustable.. But the most power is with the pricey 800 primery set up.. Right now my clutch is LATE! in engagement and is shi**y power in high, so I think any setup will help me out!
Speedwerx can you give more info on the clutch coming apart, sounds like a big deal, wonder why no one else has ever posted anything like that around?
Thanks like always guys

hot seat,
I am running an 05 sportsman 500ho, so the engine isn't nearly as strong as the 700 you all have been talking about. What clutch setup would you advise for the 500? Right now I have an epi clutch kit and thinking of going back to the heelclicker.

I'm a member over at the ATVQUADSQUAD and all the guys over there run heelclickers and not once have I heard of any of the adjustable weights coming out. I'm not saying it couldn't happen but the chances are slim. I will link this topic to them and see what they have to say about the screws in the weights coming out.

If I got the 800 primary, will it work without getting any new weights, springs or a new belt?
Can you just add the 800primary to the 700 stock machine and transfer the 700 weights and springs or are they completely different?
thanks

I am currently running the 700 hsp clutch kit in my 800 primary and i am hitting the rev limiter on top end. I would suggest running the 800 belt if you upgrade to the 800 primary clutch.
