I would go with the Heel Clicker first ($150), experiment with different weights and primary springs and if that does'nt satisfy you add the 800 primary. Then you get the best of both worlds. It depends on how fat your wallet is.

Locktight your weights in place with the removable stuff.

 

Yea if you get a clutch kit go with the Heelclicker. That way you can tune it and not worry about hitting the rev limiter.

Well i had of group people rounded up to go riding for the day and i made it for a half hr and shreaded my 800 belt it was only run for 3hrs total and it has an 8" strip of the upper coggs gone and the cords are hanging out, it almost broke in half. Is there any aftermarket places that make a belt that will last? I don't know if i can get this belt warranted? Any input would be very helpful.

 

I'm running the HP2004 Dayco belt on mine with the 800 primary.

 

I just got a dayco hp2004 belt for my 04.5 700 efi and it is wider than the stock 800 polaris belt is this normal? ii HAVE ABOUT .030 CLEARANCE BET TO SHEAVE ON THE PRIMARY CLUTCH.

 

I have about 0.25 belt clearence with the dayco belt and everything is working great.

 

Is there anyone near TN that can install the 800 primary mod??
