lol...you should know better....
i like the looks of the outlander 800, but thats about as far as i like it....for my purposes of hunting, etc, I need a Utility ATV, the Outlander isn't it...I need the storage of the Polaris, the rack size and capacity, the upper racks, the On-demand AWD, the comfort and suspension, being able to travel with 600 pounds of elk meat on the racks....

Had a buddy call me 2nite telling me he look at the Outlander and is gonna buy 1. He made a "case" that they beat a SP800 in every catagory.......I cant agree seeing I have never even seen one much less rode one, but I think I will keep my plans to get a SP800 after the first of the year.

He needs to read the new Dirt Wheels and ATV Action mags. They both agree that on hardpack, a BRP will outrun the SP and feels a little better when jumping but in every other category the SP was better. The other categories were far more important things like ride comfort, offroad traction, overall stability, computer function, storage, etc.

i still belive the sportsman 800 is the king of quads, and will be for some time, atleast untill they stick the 950cc Duke II KTM motor in it then it will be un-goddly overlord of all styles offroad

Ive rode the 800 Outlander and it"s quicker and the engine seems smoother,but...........thats where it ends for me...the Polaris 800 is a better trail machine, rides better handles better goes through the rough better.......I own 2 of them and my Buddy has the Outlander....overall the Polaris is the better of the 2 other than the extra horse power, but if I wanted to race,Id buy a Predator
