My book shows 4 zerks but,I can inly find three, 2 ball joints, one for the drive shaft spline. Book says there is one on the front driveshaft u-joint but could not find. Others told me there was only three?? Can you get a needle fitting for the u-joints? Sounds like a real good idea??

That is the only way I can see getting any grease into the u-joints. Also, I have never seen a drivshaft that is the original with grease zerts. The replacement shafts have zerts. I suppose you could add your own..a bit and a tap..good to go. I think it would be worth the time vs. replacing them down the road and having to give your arm and leg to a stealership.
Bradracer18..thanks for the info. I tried to e-mail them but they did not respond. I knew my user name, but it was to an old e-mail address that I no longer could get to.

Thanks Sportsman70003. How hard is it to install the spring spacers? What size conduit did you use?
Does anyone know where this vacum line goes? I found it lying on top of my starter when I was cleaning my quad. I can not see where it goes with out removing everything. Any ideas? Anyone?
Also, do you need a needle tip for greasing up everything? I only have 2 grease zerts and they are for the ball joints ...

ive saved this off the forum
3 headlights Modification
I have had multiple emails for the part numbers and directions so here they are for anyone who wants to make and install there own three headlight conversion kits. (all three headlight on when switched to high and 12v relay is on)
these directions will allow you to build your own headlight conversion kit to allow you to use the two lower headlights with the low beam activated and when the high beam is activated just the High beam to come on, but when the high beams are on with the flip of a switch (12v relay) for the low beams to come on as well. The wire colors are for Polaris but the kit will work with all quads with three headlights.
The parts you'll need are as follows:
12 volt relay from Otto engineering part #
6" of yellow wire
6" of green wire
heat shrink connectors or butt connectors
heat shrink tubing
2 scotch lock connectors
start by using the heat shrink/butt connectors to connect the colored wires to the relay. Use heat shrink tubing to cover the connections on the relay from moisture and dirt. Use the scotch locks to connect color coded wires to headlight wires in factory harness. This harness is located under hood after removing the front rack. Remove the four T25 bolts. Green to green and yellow to yellow.
*****this "kit" was discovered by other forum members and is now being passed on to you for free so we can all stop making those freaking ebayers rich off of $3.00 worth of supplies.*****

the ones on e-bay are using a diode that justs lets voltage pass one way has a green wire on the side of diode that hooks to the low beam wire, the other side of the diode has yellow wire that hooks to the high beam wire.Yellow wire on diode is the side 12 volts will pass thru the diode making all light work on high beam. Can get the diodes at Radio Shack.
