A ? for the SP800 owners out there

Has anybody had any of the plastic on the exhaust side of there 800 melt. Mine is melting the front of the back fender piece behind the shifter.

Happen to alot of people (not me) dealer should cover it free of charge and put some better heat tape on the back of the new side panel.
