no one ever said it gives more power.......although I think it might.
I'm not exactly sure what he does, but he grinds in the carb, cuts the spring, and many other things.......
The power and responsiveness of the pred is unreal after these mods......

you would think that........but not necessarily true..........the rath head pipe is top of the line........it flows great, and cools good too.......and looks very nice. If I already had a headpipe, other than stock.......I would not try and get another one for a while though.......the difference would be minimal to the eveyday rider.......

well........its kinda pricey.......the first mod is 90 bucks.........and the second mod is 75 bucks......both well worth it I think.......
It says on the website.......that he modifies 9 different areas on the carb.......and the second mod just increases the flow of the carb(grinding).......
you will also have to run a twin air clamp on filter(even more power).....for this mod(2nd one that is).......or he suggests it anyway.......

I don't have any flywheel mods........I personally don't really like those mods. I've heard they make you loose your power/torque......but give you better acceleration. For my riding type, I would rather keep the torque. Lots of complaints about that mod......is all I know. It works way differently on a 4stroke, as compared to a 2 stroke......a 2 stroke, I'd say he!! yea.......

Brad,
Yeah i have the carb mod, Its great well worth the money.
Throttle responce is way better through the power band and it revs much faster.
I think it may add an extra horse or so, when you hit the throttle wide open off the line there is no bog at all, so it does make the bike quicker.

guys--
i was just givin ya a hard time about the carb mods because your always reccomending them, im sorry if i set anyone off, i didnt realize our forum members were so hot tempered, i'll lay off the wise cracks
as far as carb settings, im looking at either upgradeing to a larger carb, or fixing my current one, but as far as system upgrades im looking at buying a HMF slip on, rath raceing header, Rath Raceing K&N billet set. i have no idea what my current carb settings are, but i have a White Bros E-series from the factory already on.
thanks

spyder........just to modify your future plans.........your exhaust setup sounds great!!!
As for a filter, almost all of us are going with the twin air clamp on filter(I have an outerware too)......this filter gives the most power to the carb......
If you stay with the stock carb.......get the mods and the filter......the stock carb is still pretty good, and will last you up until some serious mods.....
If you get a new carb(which will cost lots of $$)......I'd go with Keihin 41mm dirtbike carb(for good throttle respons)......or the TM45mm(for great throttle response).....or the Lectron 44mm carb(for drag racing)......
