TOP 100 THINGS NOT TO DO WITH AN ATV

never hang on to the rear racks when your buddy is driving down a gravel road.
no matter what you think, using your feet as skis will eventually lead to alot of pain and gravel/road rash.

I'd say never take a 70's ford truck hood and tie 15' of rope to it, and the other end to a wheeler to use as a sled. But it's way too fun, so go ahead. Just remember that if the guy driving the quad takes a sudden turn into a driveway, hurry up and bail or your gonna end up slammed into a tree.

Backing up as fast as you can and cranking the bars to either side. You will go up on one side at least. Did that the same day I wiped my dirtbike out on the tree at 55. Just a bad day for me to be riding mechanical conveyences.

on that same note,,,
do not attempt to do reverse 4x4 wheelies without some way to lock the bars strait. just like the last post, if yer not holding on, youll be rolling your quad over yourself. you will more than likely bend your bars, and break yourself somehow.

Make sure at least one 4x4 stays on the trail, while the others play in the mud. I CAN NOT count the times, my buddies decide to get stuck, when they see me trying to rock mine out of a hole.

DO NOT work on a quad when pops has his new harley and your brothers $30,000 show truck are sitting right infront of it. i was trying to figure out why the quad wouldnt start in gear when the clutch was pulled. i wired the switch together (holding it with my clutch hand) hit the start button and dads harley went straight into the back of the truck. i imediately left, called home, and told them to walk out to the garage. then said i would be home in about 2 days.

dont always think just because you can switch into 4x4 anytime you want, that it will save you.
tried to go mudding in 2 wheel and dug the rear end too deep. then 4x4 would only spin me deeper. 2 hours later with several attempts we got it out.
tip: if it looks deep, it probably is
