06 vs.05 800

sounds like some of you think or feel that a 06 800 efi is better or updated from the 05. is this true? should i wait and get an 06, also what do u think an 02 500 fredom limited edition is worth? its got 1100 miles

your 500 is probebly worth about 4500, there abouts, check kelly blue book.
i would deffently go for the 06, there are alot of different changes between the 05's conserning reliability, usage, work, and play. dont even think about an 05 unless you are really tight on money and want the power, the 06 is the only way to go

As far as the shifter lockout on the 05's it looks like it is just a mechanical pin in the tranny that is pulled down by a spring when you step on the rear brake pedal, any reason not to disable that sucker?
