Default valves and shims readjustment on 30hrs of seat time help please!!

i have been having a lot of problems with my LE 05 . For about 6 months after i ride real hard bring my bkie home and go to clean it, it fails to run. it tries to turn over but doesn't do it. irf i keep at i ususally drain the battery and have to charge it. i take it in to the dealer and they make a adjustment nothing major and it runs. they tell they couldn't find anything major. Know after the warranty has dried up they call me up and tell me i need my valves readjusted and shims. of course they tell me it's not under warranty and It happens often because the predator is such a high performance bike. then they procede to tell me it depends on how hard you ride and it's more of a maintence issue. i'm like what the f*#@ i'm not racing the thing in the freaking gncc how true is that statement and if it's true what maintence tips can i do to keep this from happening again.

and everytime i tip my quad up to clean underneath the gas drains out through the snorkel( i know thats normal) but that usually is one of the keys to it not starting I just spray the bottom off I'm so disappointed in this predator

actually gas WILL leak out if it is not running and it is tipped up... remmeber its carburated and the tank is above the carb when it is tipped up... gravity will take its place.

About the shims lol i think your dealer is pulling your leg as far as i know only the automatic clutches have shims

no... i am afraid you are wrong about the shims...the predator has valve buckets and shims so that you can keep everything in adjustment. There are no rocker arms like a 500 HO motor because the Predator has DOHC (Dual Over Head Cams) whale the 500 is a SOHC. And about the gas coming out of it...all you have to do is turn the fuel valve under the tank to the off position and let it run out of gas...it should only take a couple of minutes. Thats what I do when I wash my Predator. And I have a 50th Anniversary model...and i wash it with a soapy rag, not a pressure washer. So that kinda sucks. but yeah, if i let it run out none leaks out.
