700 has a 2" lift and aftermarket wheels. 800 has 2" lift and 2" spacers. Needed the spacers on the 800 so I could use the stock wheels.

Hey 425.. that is exsactly what I am looking to do to a sportsman. It looks like you had plenty of clearance in the front , did you need the 2 inch spacers for the rear to keep it away from the exhaust? Or am I not seeing this right? What I am getting at, is could you have gotten away with 1/2 inch or even 1 inch spacers? I am trying not to get more width than I have to. Do those tires rub at all? Also is the overall width the same from outside to outside, front and back?

you need the spaceing for the front, so the wheels dont rub on the tie-rods

Maybe i was misunderstood, he gained 2 inches of tire 1 inch in and 1 out. but he used a 2 inch spacer, 2 inches out. so could you get by with a 1 inch spacer?
