its silver from the factory.

its has silver plastics, that are painted silver ontop, then with a tough clearcoat

The guy at my local dealer calls it an " automotive finish"
It appears to be metal flake paint.

Just got back from looking at the LE in person. This is a beautiful machine. The plastic is Silver through out. No paint. The bottom side of the plastic was silver also. Great looking machine. i may fork out the extra 3 bills to get this color.

Silver plastic would be better than paint and clear coat. The Yamaha LE's had problems with paint and clear coat peeling.......

hey guys Im new here but heres a Pic of one, I just picked it up last week, loving it so far...

anything else you guys would like to know fire away Ill answer it if I can looking forward to learning more about the machine here as I am fairly new to polaris

i assure you it is a painted plastic with clear coat on top you can rub it and not leave a mark on it as you do with regular oplastics it is very shiny and smooth the finsish aside from the paint and differenet graphics on the tank and side panels it is the same hope these helps

Default SP800EFI Limited Edition Pics???????

I am the proud new owner of a 2006 Sportsman 800EFI Black/Silver. Just brought her home today. Beasley Motor Sports in Savannah, Georgia beat out Polaris of Chattanooga. They are advertising and selling for 7199.00 out the door. I will post pics later

Default SP800EFI Limited Edition Pics???????

It's painted plastic bought one at the begginning of november and already the paint on the rear fenders is flaking as well as paint on the front fenders so... Its gonna go back to the dealership for new fenders.
