Does anyone know if the polaris winch mount for a warn 2.5 and 3.0 are the same? Also what about the 05 and 06 do they use the same mounts? I am gonna get a 2006 800EFI from Polaris of Chattanooga and they only install 2.5 winches but I want a 3.0 so I will buy one off of ebay but not sure about the mounts. The warn site doesnt show a mount kit for the 2006 800EFI. Anyone know a part number on what I need?

 

polaris is the only company that manufactures the mounting bracket for the Warn Winches. also, the only different between the 2.5 and the 3.0 is the casters and drum are mounted in the center, rather to the side a bit like on the 2.5. there technicily the same winch in terms of power

Actualy Polaris does not manufactur any mounting plates at all. A company called DSI in Texas makes them and sells them to Polaris. I have there phone number if you want it. PM me for it.
