Well, if you are gonna try that, the stuff I have is the way for you to go, without a doubt. Everything is there. And way cheaper than you'll find.

Now, to the 450s, I have seen some have motor issues as well. But what doesnt? I am not using it as a play bike anymore, Its gonna be a race bike, and I can't race MX on this bike. Well, I can, and did once this year, but I want to be able to advance to higher classes, and this bike isnt the ticket for that.

Do you know where I can get a Dual A-Arm kit for my 2003 scrambler 500?

Troyer-
I think I can catch you here, but I don't mean to hijack the thread. When you installed that Fox Ryde FX clicker shock on the rear of your scrambler a while ago, did you have to buy a pair of the shocks? Do you have that other shock laying around anymore?

Yeah, you can buy a 250r frame, hack it apart, and weld it to the front of your Scrambler. There is no "kit" available...it's a custom project you'd have to do.

Hey guys. Long time no talk. I still have the bike, but with the new R in the garage it doesnt get moved much. As for the ryde FX, those shocks are gone. And like WI said, there is no kit available, have to do it yourself, and its a ton of work.

This is a dumb questoin but how much better is it to have a dual a-arm frame. Does it only really make a difference for MX style friding or is it a lot better all around?

lol nicely said..

and because of that i think thats why ur better off buying a 450 then going through all the trouble of building a MX quad out of a scrambler or sport, it's just not gonna work as well in the long run...

it would be sweet as hell tho if polaris did upgrade the scramblers a bit, put dual A arm suspension in front and maybe put EFI on them as well
