i have a maching pair of 94 300 4x4's. last week one of them would not start after it got wet from the rain/snow. i have narrowed it down to an electrical issue but not sure how to troubleshoot from there. the machine will turn over, lights and everything work, but no spark. after the machine is dried, it runs just fine. anyone ever have a similar issue?

I had the same problem. On mine, the boot were the plug wire goes into the coil was lose. I got it running and sprayed water on all the electrical connection until I found the problem.

i found a purple wire that was for the 4x4 override. it was cut so i fixed it. now, the darn thing will start in neutral or high/low gear, but will not run in reverse when wet. it will also quit anytime the override button is pushed (also when wet) any thoughts?
