Hey guys, just logged on to this site. Seems like there is tons of good info out there. I used to have a scrambler 500 4x4 great quad. Sold it about 6 months ago. Just bought a 2006 Polaris predator 500 Safari Edition. This thing is awesome. Very powerful and rides great. I love Polaris.

Welcome to the forums. I havent heard about the safari one. What makes it different.

 

Well the safari one is pretty much a TLd but with black metallic body plastic and special stickers. Has the Razor 2 tires with rolled rims, black seat, new front and rear grab bars, and upgraded fox shocks. The shocks the dealer said were revalved by safari motorsports. I think that is about it.
Almost forgot it has an all black powdercoated frame.

My little bro has a kawaski kfx 400 with a jet kit, CAI and a yosh pipe on it. I put at least 8-9 bikes on him with me starting off in second. Mines stock LOL.
With all th eproblems with the Kfx/Z400 I'm done with jap bikes. I though that they got better, wrong.
