When it comes to power to weight and engine size its no contest. Its the 2 strokes hands down. Its no secret that it took twice the CC's and millions of dollars of developement time to get a twice as big of a 4 stroke engine to out perform a smaller 2 stroke engine.

 

It was a blast!

Does the 500cc Predator make as much power as the 500cc Suzuki Quadzilla? I think not

 

2 strokes: less expensive to make, can be still used when turned upside down and on its side, a very good power to weight ratio.

4 strokes: less pollution, easy to maintain, better on gas.
