Hey Grizzman42.. Since you are the undisputed expert on cows on this thread, maybe you can explain something to me. When I was younger, I would ask my dad if I could drive his 383 Cuda. His answer was always when cows fly. So whats up with that anyway. When do cows fly?

Turbo? I'm not even sure a turbo works with a 2 stroke. Never heard of it myself. If you want more top end, it's out there. I'm looking for GRUNT.

The 800 skidoo is a twin cylinder two stroke that puts out about 140 HP stock. So turboed would be a killer!

I don't think my bike has reeds. I'm still trying to figure out why and how it operates without them. I was under the impression that they acted like a valve (hence reed valve) and added in intake and combustion. Mystery to me. I was considering a higher compression piston, but havn't found one yet. I could have the head shaved to raise compression, but I'm not sure. Do you have any advice on how to polish? I've learned the Polaris 250 gets a big hp gain from porting, but the dynos I've seen all show gains in top end hp. Not really too interested. Rick Ritter makes a neat bottom end pipe that I'm seriously considering. I'm mainly after that initial blast off the throttle. Where I ride, it's just too tight and too rough to get going over 40mph. Anyway, thanks for the help.
