Default 1995 Polaris 400 sportsman questions please help

Looking to get into ATV's for a good price.

One is for sale that is a 1995 Polaris 400 Sportsman with 1400 miles on it.
Can you guys give me any info on this.

He says it runs and still looks good and it has a 50 inch hand powered snow plow in it, 2 stroke.
It's 4x4 and he is asking $2200.

Does this sound reasonable?

Thanks in advance for any response.

the price with winch is fair.Try to get him to $1800.Also be sure the counterbalance has clean oil in it or you are in for major repair bills.

The dip stick is onthe rear of the motor below the carb.It has a slot for a screw driver.Should have clean oil in it not milky or green.

If you are eally wanting one of these older 4x4s go on Ebay and find a seller by the name Breezelawnandgarden they are a dealer but sell the older stuff on ebay and they do ship and if you call them they will be straight forward with you.
