Default Pipe for Scrambler 500 recomendations?

Good morning, I have an 05 scrambler. I added a clutch kit. Thinking about adding a K&N air filter / dial a jet and a pipe this winter. Can anyone recomend a pipe? Slip on - or full exhaust? Is there a difference in performance. Is there a noticible difference from pipe to pipe (different manufacturer)...to a casual trail rider? Just looking for low and mid range gains. I hear some ATV parks have a noise limitations on pipes, I would like to stay within any limits to avoid future aggrivation. ANy info would be appreciated.

When I had my scrammy I had the supertrapp exhaust comes with the header pipe and silencer. Made awesome midrange pull and made a huge difference. Comes with spark arrestor and is a disc system so you can tune it on how loud. Mine was loud even though it is a quiet core and I had all the discs in though. But sounded good and not too loud. Not too expensive either and bought it from rockymountain. I personally think it is better than the other pipes for the scrammy. Supertrapp is known for good mid range power.

Awesome peformance gain and well worth it.

Hope this helps you

White Bros is the most popular for low and midrange. But the Aaen w/spark arrestor is good too.If you want to drop more $$$$$ the HPD is a complete system but I dont see the extra power for the cash.

I just installed a white brothers e series slip on , on my2005 less than a month ago and it works and sounds sweet. Lots of low and good mid not hurting a noticeable amount off the top , for the price you can't go wrong!

I have the WB also & it is a great pipe for the $.

locrian, all the Wb E-series are the same for the 500 Scrambler, even if the catalog description only says 97-03 or whatever.
