Default Predator CDI??

Hello all,
I've been considering buying an aftermarket CDI box for my '03 Predator and wanted to ask your opinions. First I'm hoping to improve my low end response a little better than what I have now, (current mods include Yoshi pipe, Uni filter and jetted). Is a CDI by changing the spark curve going to help my low end response or am I barking up the wrong tree? Second, it seems when it is below 40 degrees F my Predator is hard to start, my battery is in good shape will an aftermarket CDI help the cold weather starts? Lastly what brand is the best bang for the buck?

A cdi will not give you any more low end. Maybe get a after market header, or go with a sprocket change, maybe 13 front or a 40 rear. Nicholas Cycle has a nice cdi that I really liked, good cheap mod.
