I have a 2005 Sportsman 500 HO and my foot brake hardly grabs at all, the dealer told me thats the way it is supposed to be, but I call bulls**t. Does anyone else have this problem or is that the way they are supposed to be.

 

my 04 700 footbrake locks rear up HARD.

 

My neighbors works quite well.

 

dont know how many miles you have ,but rear pads were so smoked after about 300miles that I was using the rear caliper piston as a brake pad. Check pads . also the rear has a seperate master cylinder down near the foot brake lever is the resovoir full? and rear bleeds seperate from hand lever and foot lever. ( 2 bleeder valves)Hope it helps
