I was just wanting to know what is the longest syn rope I can put on my winch, it's a Warn A2500 with 50' 3/16 wire cable on it right now. I was wanting to buy syn rope but was hoping I could go longer.

You can get the amsteel blue in 100 feet for about $80. I forgot where the post is but there is a company that sells alot of it and they are cheap.

You can buy the synthetic rope in 100' sections but I don't think there's enough room on the drum to spool that much rope???I think the 100' is for larger winches....

You can fit 100ft on a standard spool. You cant do that with winch cable because it is not flexable and cant be wound as tight. You also have to remember the more you put on the spool the weaker your winch is. Your winch is most effective closer to the spool.

2manytoys is right, you are better off with 50' of rope on the winch and a 50' or 100' extension rope (loops at both ends).

I was wanting to go longer because I REALLY get stuck and have to use my doubler alot. I just get tired of haveing to hall my extra staps out to make up the difference in the length, but the 50' extension isn't a bad idea I could just tie some loops through out it to have multipule points to pull from unless on of you know of company that makes somthing like this already.

You'd want something like this, but don't get a Warn one as its probably overpriced and has a fairly weak load rating (4000 lbs).

I don't know about tying loops in it -- every knot in a rope reduces its strength by a decent amount.
