Default 97 400 Scrambler have Concentric Drive?, piston question

Hey guys-
I just recently bought a cheap 97 400 Scrambler that was in need of assembly. I have just briefly looked at the machine and think the rear sprocket may be in line with the swingarm pivot. The machine was built 6/16/97, making it a very late 97 model. Is it possible that this machine had the concentric drive system? Also, the machine came with a WSM platinum piston. Is this piston comparable to a Wiseco, or should I spend a little extra money to buy a Wiseco? Thanks.

The first concentricdrive were made in 98. The concentricdrive ones have the breake on the rear axle.
