Default jetting

so im about to put a circular K&N filter from my old Sportsman 800 thats basicly, brand new on my predator. im going to use it as a clamp on style, mount it directly to the carb. i figure since thats the way the twin air's work, this should work just aswell with a outerwares and i dont have to buy the stupid new filter. its going to be running through the stock header and carb to my PP exhuast. im considering buying a turndown for it as it looks sweet and alot of people have mentioned how much freer it flows and how nice it sounds. ideas?

anyway i need some help with the jetting, i have no idea what to use. Webopper suggested using a 175, but i figured id make this thread to see if anyone had another idea.

thanks

If your just changing the filter, I would see how it performs first, now if you were to change the exhaust too I would say to start with 2 full sizes up. You may be able to just move the needle up a clip two, (if it has notches) if not shim it. If my advise sucks, sorry in advance. I usually mess with street bikes, but a carb's a carb, right?
Good luck
Jason
