How does your tiny-tach work for you ?
#3
Not very well at all!! I think my dealer installed the wrong model when I bought my TLE... My tiny-tach appears to read about 50% of actual RPMs I am guessing. I talked with the company a while back and they suggested additional wraps on the sparkplug wire. Did not help. Have not had time to pursue the issue. Aside from the slow response time, it is nice to have an idea what kind of RPM I'm running. more out of curiousity than anything else.
If you get the right model, I think it is worth the price. Just my $.02 worth.

Mine works ok but you have to pay close attention to get the engagment rpm but it works and give a goot top rpm reading. I keep a spare one around to reclutch other bikes with because they hook up so easy.

Once I have the money I am going to buy one of the digital tach, temp ones that hot seat perf sells. They are about $135 but are backlit and provide constant rpm. Look pretty night too!
