yes an my engin it my 700 in made here. I belive all the asia parts are made over seas. an the assembled here.

 

Only the 700 and the 800 are made in the U.S.. Not sure about the 600. I'm sure some of the asian parts are made in the U.S. If I'm correct, alot of Polaris parts are made in Canada.

 

Thanks again for the replies. I've got a new 2005 800 EFI in the garage. Beautiful, beautiful machine. Looking forward to using it.

I also bought a Glacier plow and the Warn 2.5ci winch. I installed the winch myself and have to say wow, very nice setup and fitted perfectly. Installation was smooth and easy to do a professional job since everything was designed specifically for Polaris. I can't imagine how I would have hacked things up if I had gone with a different unit.

Unfortunately I got the wrong mount plate for the plow, but hope to exchange that today or Tuesday. It looks like on the 800 the rear of the plow mount hooks into a tab whereas the mount I got has brackets meant to go around the frame to secure the back of the mount. Problem is, the frame isn't entirely exposed so it's impossible to install the included brackets. Hopefully the dealer will have the correct mount plate.
