Any ATV Safety Instructors in these Forums?

Im curious? Are any of you guys certified to teach the ASI safety course? If so,how grueling was the 4 day class they send you to?
Im asking because I have someone higher up involved in the ASI that wants me as a ASI instructor.Im giving it some real thought for some good reasons,
1.Safety of our sport is very lacking
2.There are simply not enough CERTIFIED instuctors in this sport.
3.It is very demanding
4.I love to teach
5.I love our sport and wish to share it with others.
Anybody teaching the Safety course?

Rick,
I think it would be alot of fun to.I keep picturing myself out on a field with a bunch of 7-15 yr old guys just anxiously waiting for a ride on their quad.Though im certain there would also be adult riders taking the course to.
Actually, the instructors really work for the manufactures. The manufactures have CC recommendations for kids to ride.
1.7-12yrs old,70cc quads
2.13-16 yrs old,70 to 90cc quads.
Im having a problem with the CC range right now.I went to enroll my daughter in a saftey course and the instructor rejected her because her Honda Recon is a 229cc quad, not the 90cc recommended by the manufactures.
Im a firm beleiver in sizing the kid to the correct quad,however,90cc for a 15 or 16yr old kid?NO way.Aint to many dads going to spend the money the manufactures want on these smaller quads just to see the purchase they just made because of the manufactures RECOMMENDATION is now to small and underpowered for their kid.Makes no damn sense to me.
So now im patiently waiting for an instructor to call me with a date to take the daughter in for the course, that is,when he will have a loaner 90cc quad available to ride for the course.
ITs my opionion that the CC ratings are undersized for the older kids,it should be changed.Pisses me off,I thought I used great judgement in sizing my 14yr old daughter to the correct quad, the manufactures dont think so.I'll be damn if im going to buy her a little undersized 90cc just to please a recommendation from the manufacture.I understand that the manufacturers are protecting their own a$$es[potential lawsuits] with this CC recomendation, however, its really the customer who looses in the end,

Yes, that age recomandation is really ridiculous. My sister (who's 11 is already too tall for a 90cc ahaha).
Here in quebec, there are laws about quad riding and you can actually ride any quad of any size as long as you pass a test. To try this test, you only need to be 14. That makes more sense to me.
Anyways, good height is when the feet touch the ground.

We had to bend the truth & tell the people at the ATV institute my kid was 12 instead of 11 since he has a 90cc machine.
It didn't matter since E-ton doesn't support the ATV institute they wanted to charge us $30 for the class.
The class is good, my wife learned some good stuff. I will pay the money out of my pocket for the kid next spring.
