just got a set of reeds today and was wondering if the white plastic funnel needs to be in the cage, or will it help performance to remove it? i love this forum, only been on for a short time but i think its great, lots of good info and a few good laughs. thanks..

 

They call that a reed stuffer, its supposed to help the bottom end performance. I dont know if it reduces your top end or not, someone else might know.
